Caleb Ruseskas

Director of Technical Services

Why did you decide to get into the IT industry and how did you get here?

“I’ve always enjoyed computers and troubleshooting issues when they were broken, I find it very interesting and a great challenge to find ways to solve issues with technology.  I went to DeSales University and received a degree in Computer Sciences and interned at tech42, which turned into a permanent stay.  Now, I am always working towards more certifications and constantly studying topics in the industry to improve my skills and find new ways of troubleshooting.”

Which of your skills benefits the success of tech42 most?

“I would say that I have an extremely good knowledge of ‘how computers talk’.  I think my most important skills set to add to the group is that I am very good at networking, routers and connections, which means I’m very good at making the computers talk.”

In your opinion, what are the core values of tech42?

“To me, tech42 is built around honesty and quality with their customers.  We pride ourselves on being honest and straightforward with all our customers to ensure that they do receive the best quality of work that can be provided.  I also think we are always working on being thorough with our work and checking things twice to ensure that every item has been checked off our lists and everything is working properly.”

Tell us about one of your favorite projects with tech42?

“As you could imagine, one of my favorite projects was a unique one where we had to troubleshoot right off the bat.  We were approached by Allied Services to provide a WIFI connection for multiple buildings that were not able to be connected through wiring.  It was a fun project to come up with a solution for and to be part of executing the plan.  We were also able to save them a good amount of money on their monthly bills by being able to complete the project, which is always a win for us.”

In a few words, what do you like most about working at tech42?

“Something new every day”

What are some things you like to do when you aren’t working?

“I enjoy watching sports, specifically the Miami Dolphins.  I also enjoy reading, I like to read a lot of industry literature, it helps me to be on top of things within the tech world because it is such a quickly developing industry.”
